This is the proactiv commercial with Jessica Simpson, its a persuading commercial because there a celebrity on it and she's saying that she used to have acne until she used proactiv and that cleared everything up. Since the commercial is persuading people to buy proactiv and that it works really well by using a famous person the commercial is using Ethos, attempt to gain the audiences support for the argument.

The senate forged a deal on the $827 billion plan Friday, Obama is hitting the road and reaching out beyond the beltway after some high-profile attacks on the republicans. One person Simon Rosenberg says "The country is hurting, people are desperate for their leaders to succeed," he says "Obama is just a man he is not a god, people are coming to realize , that change is not going to be easy it is going to be hard." People are putting their trust into Obama that he will bring us out of the economic crisis.

The speech is from the movie Remember the Titians, the coach is giving a speech to his team. Encouraging them to put alot of work into what they are doing and to not give up. He is speaking at good pace so that everyone can understand him, but also talking softly so that they are trying to listen to him. He is moving around, walking, so that he can make sure that everyone is paying attention to him. He makes his voice louder at some points to make the team know that that word is important.

This speech is from Harvey Milk, he decided to stand up for something he believes in and fight for it. His speech was good he paused at times, although you cant see him he sounds strong his voice is clear and you can understand him. He also used a repeated work "Hope," trying to making his point clear that with hope he can achieve and he says "Without hope life is not worth living." He's making his point short and simple.
